Customer Requirements
The client needed to deploy 5 real-time dust monitoring stations and 1 integrated dust and weather monitoring station. The goal was to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, proactively manage airborne particulates, and eliminate any adverse effects on neighbouring residences.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges was to integrate real-time data from the existing four monitoring stations into a unified and easily manageable dashboard. The client needed a solution that could seamlessly merge data from both the existing and new monitoring systems for streamlined monitoring and reporting.
Solution
TES implemented its Trelia data platform, configured to retrieve real-time data from the client's existing third-party monitoring systems (four stations) and integrate it with data from the new 6 Dust and Weather monitoring stations. This integration allowed for centralised monitoring and management, providing the client with remote access to real-time data, automated reporting, and instant alerts to meet their specific requirements.
Value to Client
Following the successful implementation, the client now benefits from real-time data insights, enabling them to proactively manage dust levels and airborne particulates. The integrated system ensures compliance with environmental obligations outlined in their Environmental Authority (EA). The Trelia data platform has empowered the client to monitor, mitigate, and eliminate potential environmental impacts, thereby safeguarding the well-being of neighboring residences and ensuring a sustainable and compliant operation.
